Midway through the Hisense 200, Barrett got loose off Turn 2, catching Cale Conley and sending both into the wall hard as a fire ignited on the No. 15 car. Barrett was able to drive to safety crews, who quickly extinguished the flames.

The two drivers were evaluated and released from the infield care center without any injuries.

Regan Smith was able to hold off Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch for the win at the one-mile track. It was Smith’s second victory and 21st top-10 finish of the season.
