Aim assist is often a hotly contested topic as some players believe that those using controllers shouldn’t get an advantage over those preferring the pinpoint accuracy of a mouse and keyboard. One thing that has seemingly been fixed is the popular meme character known as Craig the Brute, something that the community latched on to during the original gameplay reveal, unintentionally added by 343. Craig’s discovery occured after Master Chief knocked a helmet off of a Brute, exposing a character without a ton of detail....

The balance between weapons, vehicles, and physics has always been pivotal to the Halo multiplayer experience, and is especially on display in Halo Infinite. For instance, a powerful vehicle like a Scorpion tank can be shut down by a couple SPNKR rockets or Skewer spikes, but an adept player with a Repulsor can return those projectiles to their sender if the equipment is used properly. Obviously, some weapons and tactics are stronger than others, though, meaning certain players can definitely dominate a game if they know the strategies....

The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta kicked off on November 15 for players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to jump in and enjoy the full suite of multiplayer maps and modes that will be available at launch.
